About Tejas
Tejas Research & Engineering is now in its eighth year of business – having grown exponentially since early 2000, when three engineers with a common vision launched the company from a garage while working on folding chairs and plastic tables.
Our history has been marked by significant growth, progress, and change. We are very proud of our accomplishments. The following is a list highlighting major milestones in our short history:

Built around a corps of outstanding engineers and support personnel, Tejas formed an enterprise that moves on three distinct legs: Tejas Merla® Products , Engineering Services, and Testing Services. Our efforts are directed to our core competencies in completion equipment including, but not limited to: surface controlled subsurface safety valves, gas lift equipment, packers, sliding sleeves, intelligent completions, flow control, and surface control valves. We also have extensive experience with intellectual property navigation, subsea equipment development, and robotic implementation.
